My 26 yr old Son has Schizophrenia. He wont leave the apt. He's been off Meds for months and Emory refuses to prescribe anymore Meds unless he goes to his appts. He refuses to go. Is there a way someone can come out and do an Evaluation? He revieves Medicaid
My son is extremely paranoid, has had psychotic episodes. He has no mental health history care. We are definitely concerned that if he leaves again we will never see him again - we are concerned for his very life. Where is the best place to have him committed to force evaluation and treatment. He has no insurance. What is the procedure for doing this.
My wife was diagnosed as Bipolar II and PTSD 4+ years ago. She could barely leave the apt for therapist and Psychiatrist visits a few hundred yards away by herself, the the psychiatrist died. She hasnt seen one since just a couple tele doc appts. A GP handles her meds, but she is deteriorating and going off over everything or nothing almost daily. Disability has been turned down once years ago and we cant even get back down there. Her brother died in a bike wreck last years which made it worse , ans her grandmother the year before, She needs help and now, I probably do now also Suggestions? Thanks
