Harbor House is not not guaranteed to be free but all listing are either free sliding scale, discounted, low cost, or Medicaid sponsored local treatment centers.
Many are non profit drug and alcohol treatment facilities such as faith based organizations.
Intakes are done at the Marion House Soup Kitchen 14 W. Bijou Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00-1:00.
We are a Sober Living Transitional Housing Program partially sponsored by HUD. In this program "Sobriety is the priority then employment."
Much of our staff are in recovery and find this as a way to help others as they were once helped. We have recently partnered with a Respite Care Program to help those struggling with addiction and have had some sort of major surgery. These individuals now have access to our program. This is unusual because most sober living programs do not have the capacity to take someone who is recovering medically as well.
We offer help with education and training as these skills will help with employment.
