Our Mission:
To provide a safe and healthy environment for the alcoholic / addict and their families to find recovery.
We are located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are a 15-year-old grassroots organization run and overseen by recovering alcoholics and addicts.
We are a licensed by the State of Colorado Division of Behavioral Health to provide Substance Use Disorder Treatment. At ARP we believe that recovery is a process, not an event, and one that is better taken by a guide. We are focused on the holistic (spirit, mind, body) treatment of addiction. We treat the disease of addiction on an individual basis as the symptoms of the disease can differ from person to person. It is our goal to tailor a unique recovery experience that matches the needs of each client that enters our program.
We are based on the 12-step philosophy, and we believe that sobriety can't be kept unless you give it away. Clients will be able to share their story with newcomers as they continue on their own path and recovery unfolds beneath their very eyes. Clients are involved in weekly individual and group sessions
